About the role
We’ve got a great new opportunity to join the University as a Student Employment Manager. This role will lead the team to build a successful and profitable employment agency through the provision of recruitment solutions to internal departments and local employers whilst putting students at the heart of everything you do.
You will lead and implement strategy that supports student employability initiatives and develop transferable skills and experiences to help our students become the best they can be. In addition, you will ensure the continuous improvement and development of policy, practice and processes to ensure the service runs smoothly.
This is a great role which gives you the opportunity to make a real difference to our students and the support they receive.
About you
We are looking for someone with substantial experience working within a fast-paced agency environment, internal recruitment function or has equivalent relevant experience running employability programmes / initiatives. In addition, you will have experience of managing projects from idea to implementation, whilst being able to lead the team to achieves it’s outcomes.
We are looking for a great communicator with the ability to influence decision-making and work under your own initiative. You will be proactive in building relationships both with internal colleagues and external employers and work effectively with staff and teams.
