Job description

As a Functional Safety Student, you will be in charge of implementing the functional safety process related to our product development to meet the safety requirements of autonomous vehicles. You will act as an interface to various stakeholders and apply your assertiveness skills in the field of functional safety.

In your new role, you will:

• Contribute to the technical confirmation measures to prove the product meets its safety requirements, through analysis and assessments;
• Conduct relevant safety analysis engineering methods (e.g. FTA, DFA, FMEDA), during product development;
• Provide the Safety Documentation;
• Act as an internal and external interface for safety analysis-related topics (e.g. internal: product-related safety verification and design; external: customer support on Functional Safety topics).

Your Profile

You have a proactive personality and are a great communicator, willing to actively support and collaborate with your team members. You thrive in an international environment and are always looking for opportunities to develop your skills.

You are best equipped for this task if you:

• Are a Master’s degree Student in Physic Applications, Electric, or Electronic Engineering;
• Have some knowledge in analog design, power electronics, and physics of semiconductor devices;
• Have good technical document writing skills (mandatory);
• Have strong verbal communication skills;
• Are creative for problem-solving and a team player;
• Are fluent in English (written and spoken).

It would be an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge of the standard ISO26262 or other relevant automotive functional safety standards;
• Know-how of tools: Reliability workbench, Ansys Medini Analyze.
