Based within the Student Recruitment Events team, this role is responsible for the organisation and delivery of face to face and online open days, applicant days, postgraduate open evenings, campus tours and other activities aimed to provide opportunities for prospective students, their families and school and college groups, to visit the university, both on campus and virtually.
You will work with colleagues in Marketing and Communications, other central services, and academic colleagues to deliver programmes of activity designed to encourage the recruitment and conversion of potential students to assist the university in achieving its recruitment and access and participation targets.
Experience of organising and delivering large scale events to fixed deadlines is essential to this role, as is the ability to communicate effectively and to prioritise your own workload. Experience of organising targeted subject recruitment events at a university is desirable.
The post will require regular weekend and out of hours working. Please note that agile working is supported in this role with the team currently working in the office every Tuesday throughout the year and multiple days per week in the lead up to each event.
We are planning to hold interviews for this post w/c 22nd April 2024.

We embrace equality and diversity in our working, learning, research and teaching environment and are committed to maintaining a supportive and inclusive community.
