Job Purpose
To proactively manage the support and development of the University¿s Student Records and Information System in line with University and Service strategies and operating plans including leading the development and delivery of effective digital solutions for enhancements and effective strategies for user support, staff training and business intelligence reporting.
Our Student Systems Support & Development Managers will lead, manage and develop a specialist team of functional experts providing user support for the University¿s Student Records Information System. The roles report to the Head of Student Systems Support & Development who will work with the successful candidates to agree and, regularly review, the programme of works and the division of responsibilities.
The roles provide a diverse range of activities, coupled with opportunities to lead project/workstreams to enhance the applicant, student and staff experiences through the provision of new and enhanced computing solutions. Business analysis, business intelligence reporting together with software testing and the preparation of SQL scripts are keys aspects of the roles.
The successful candidates will be highly organised operational team players who thrive working with a range of stakeholders, be motivated and able to prioritise/multi-task both their own and the work of the team in a busy support office; they should have excellent personal and interpersonal skills.
