Job Purpose

Support and develop the supplier in order to guarantee the delivered parts are qualitative and meet the specifications of Dana.

Reports to the Supplier Quality Manager. There are regular contacts with the manager for exchanging information and taking critical decisions. Regular contacts with Purchasing, Engineering and Production departments are necessary. External contacts with suppliers and with Supplier Development Engineering.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Job Duties:

Key Activity Area 1: Supplier Audits

“Plan and execute audits at supplier locations in order to have secured processes and liable products parts in order to prevent production line stops.”

Key Activity Area 2: Supplier support & development

“Follow up, monitor, calculate and develop the supplier in order to guarantee the delivered parts are qualitative and meet the specifications of Dana.”

Key Activity Area 3: Technical Support Purchasing

“Support the Purchasing Department during the selection and evaluation process of potential suppliers in order to guarantee qualitative suppliers meeting the specifications of Dana.”

Key Activity Area 4: RRR decision

“Take decisions of rejected supplier parts in order to guarantee the delivered parts are qualitative and meet the specifications of Dana.”

Competencies, Knowledge & Education:

-Must-Haves: Good product knowledge, Dealing with different personalities, Good interpersonal and communication skills,  Customer orientation, Fluently in Dutch and English, Basic knowledge of French, Willingness to travel
-Nice to haves: Fluently in French
-Minimum Bachelor degree, preferably Master degree
-Minimum 10 years experience and successful track record in similar type of position – Quality
