Above all Ferrari is an international team working with the highest level of professionalism and dedication, based on performance, meritocracy and continuous development, with innovation at the heart of our future.In order to strengthen our Quality Department, we are looking to hire a Supplier Quality Engineer based in Maranello (Italy).In this position, the SQE will report to the EES & Electrification Supplier Quality Manager and will be responsible for ensuring quality standards throughout all phases of product development, from design through the product in operation.As part of the Supplier Quality team, you will be responsible for:– Verification of processes and potential suppliers (evaluation of supplier suitability – process planning verification);
– Support in the procurement process by evaluating potential suppliers in terms of quality, with a focus on technical aspects, technologies, development timelines, and quality performance in production;– Close collaboration with suppliers through periodic visits and drafting of regular reports;
– Management of any non-conformity complaints and implementation of corrective actions;
– Application of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) where required to achieve products compliant with customer requirements;
– Definition of improvement plans;
– Interface with the production and process quality sectors.In order to succeed in this challenging role, it is preferred that you have achieved excellent academic results with a master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.Ideally, you should have at least 3 years of experience in the role.
A high propensity for mobility is required (
75%).In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, strong communication skills, team working and accountability are important skillset to manage activities and responsibility of the role.Fluent English is required for the position and Italian language skills are an advantage.
