In this framework, measuring the social and environmental performance of our supply chain becomes a priority for our organization. To that effect, sustainable procurement in MSF is driven by a collaboration between the Global Procurement Unit (GPU) and MSF’s Climate, Environment and Health (CEH) coordinators in the various Operational Centers, with support from the Sustainable Procurement Coordinator in the International Office. A joint roadmap has been established to integrate the sustainability of MSF’s procurement practices. The initiative of deepening relationships between MSF’s suppliers globally and our procurement teams began in 2022.
