Working closely with classroom teachers, the Support Teacher will provide instructional support, help implement innovative teaching strategies, and contribute to a dynamic and inclusive classroom culture. The role involves leading small group sessions, assisting with lesson preparation, and ensuring that each student receives the guidance they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.Accountabilities:

• Inspire and support students by applying diverse teaching techniques and learning strategies to enhance academic and personal growth.
• Develop engaging activities in collaboration with educational professionals and external community service providers.
• Lead small group instruction and track student progress to ensure alignment with individual education plans (IEPs).
• Advocate for students with academic, social, or behavioral challenges while fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Assist in classroom management, implementing behavior programs, and ensuring a safe and structured learning space.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Strong willingness to develop skills in managing classroom dynamics and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and contribute to an engaging educational experience.
• Special needs expertise is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to work in dynamic educational settings.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity in all student-related matters.
