A leading company focussing in cutting-edge Mixed Signal ICs and SoCs are searching for an experienced and talented Architect to join their team at one of their sites in France.

Key tasks:

* Ownership of MS architecture for cutting-edge SoC
* Understand and define System, HW, SW, Security, Power and Area requirements
* Lead selection of external IPs
* Execute Behavioural, Functional & Performance modelling, identifying key architectural parameters
* Optimization using simulation and modelling
* Collaborating with cross functional teams who focus on topics such as; RTL Design, DFT, Verification, FW/SW Development, Pre/post silicon validation and Project Management
* Manager Requirement Traceability demonstrating full coverage
* Provide specifications of micro-architecture for custom IPs
* Lead the chip security strategy
* Working closely with Customers, Product teams and Marketing in gathering requirements and understanding product specification needs

Ideal background:

* 10+ years in a senior technical position in a relevant domain
* Proven success and deep knowledge in the design & architecture of complex SoC and peripherals including MPU architecture, memory sub-systems, on-chip interconnection networks, HW/SW partitioning
* Experience with high and low-speed interfaces. ie, PCIe, Ethernet, (LP)DDR…
* Experience in SoC Security
* Experience in MS Silicon process
* Experience with DSP (using Matlab or Python)
* Proactive especially in technical leadership
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, excellent in documentation
* Outstanding analytical and synthesis skills
* Skilled in problem solving, including across teams, analytical
* Technical leadership through all levels, both on-site and in other locations

Additional experience which would be a plus:
* ARM ecosystem
* RTOS
* High speed I/O
* NoC (Network on Chip)
* 5G/6G
*Safety, Reliability high resilience/High availability
* Jama / Requirement Traceability tool experience
