We are the safe choice for our clients.Come Innovate Motion with UsWe are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our VAT Team within our European Financial Shared Services Centre in Hatvan, Hungary. This role is pivotal to supporting our expanding business needs, particularly during the currently ongoing implementation of Oracle. This opportunity is initially available on a one-year fixed-term contract, however we have a strong intention to converting this position into a permanent role, offering you long-term career stability and growth within our dynamic team.Your responsibilities will be to:Ensure VAT, EC sales and Intrastat transactional compliance and reportingPrepare VAT returns filling in various jurisdictions in a timely mannerSupport automation and improvements of accounting / booking processes from the perspective of tax requirementsCollaborate with other teams to ensure that VAT related master data is managed properlyAssist in implementation of VAT related legal requirementsCreate / update the invoice settings in the ERPComplete the VAT balance sheet account reconciliations and other VAT related accounting tasksIdentify and improve efficiency in indirect tax compliance tasksSupport internal and external stakeholders in daily VAT mattersAssist ad hoc tax audits in various European countriesOur requirements:BSc. or MSc. degree in EconomicsMinimum 1 year experience in an accounting roleSolid knowledge of VAT compliance rules and related accounting principlesFluency in English, both written and spokenProactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to adapt to changing prioritiesExceptional analytical skills with great attention to detailsStrong Excel skillsPrior experience with Oracle would be an advantageWhat we offer:Attractive remuneration and benefits package (incl. fringe benefits, annual bonus, travel support, etc.)Hybrid working modelContinuous training opportunitiesA truly international work contextOpportunity to grow professionallyLocation: HatvanCome join our global, inclusive & diverse teamOur purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through our innovative motion systems.
