The team focuses on closing the IFRS and Belgian GAAP accounts in order to provide adequate reporting to management, shareholders and tax authorities. Even though key result areas can vary over time between the team members, the Tax Manager will focus on all tax related matters.Your tasks * Tax DeclarationsEnsure correct calculation, recording and declaring of indirect taxes, income taxes, withholding tax, local taxes, passenger taxes and other various taxes (e.g. insurance tax).Main activities

• Prepare data and fill in Tax forms and declarations in Belgium, for SN Airholding and Brussels Airlines, and abroad, for outstations, including:

• VAT tax returns
• Corporate tax declarations
• 50 declaration
• Transfer Pricing documentation
• Passenger tax declaration to customs
• Customs declarations (e.g. for registering an aircraft)
• Local taxes
• Country-by-country reporting (CBCR)
• Various tax forms, such as 276R and 273 Tax WHT
• Where applicable, coordinate transfer of tasks to a 3rd

• Tax Audits

Coordinate Tax Audits for Income Taxes, VAT and other tax-related charges in Belgium and abroad.Main activities

• Ensure the organization, maintenance and updating of the tax files for all companies.
• Formalize and document different tax processes as well as ensuring adherence to these processes.
• Prepare all correspondence for the tax authorities and gather the necessary information in the event of tax audits or litigation (including questions related to SN being a third party).

• Tax Representation

Follow up on all tax related matters and projects.Main activities

• Follow up on all tax related matters and projects.
• Manage relationship with tax authorities (including Customs Authorities).
• Identify and summarize all taxation risks.
• Assist the various departments in the collection of information in the context of tax.
• Represent Brussels Airlines and Lufthansa Group in working groups.
• Monitor local as well as international tax developments and develop and implement appropriate measures.

• Collaboration with Lufthansa Group

Foster collaboration with Lufthansa Group tax division and participate in group-wide projects.Main activities

• Calculate tax provisions and tax related IFRS postings.
• Provide Pillar 2 data.
• Collect Transfer Pricing documentation data.
• Answer VAT-related questions from the group.
• Participate in tax projects.
• Active participation in the Tax Stream of the Lufthansa Group Finance Transformation Project, identifying opportunities to automate way of working and simplify compliance.

Your profile

• Broad tax knowledge, with relevant experience of at least 5 years in the field of indirect and corporate tax .
• Experience of working in international accounting and tax environment.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to keep up-to-date with legal and regulatory requirements, market practices and international risk standards.
• Knowledge of Belgian tax administration applications.
• SAP experience is an asset.
• Excel experience.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
