Pay: £89.05 – £95.26 per day
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30
Type: Long-Term, Full-TimeAre you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant ready to support young learners in their early educational journey? Supply Desk is pleased to be working with a welcoming primary school in East Grinstead, currently seeking a Year 1 Teaching Assistant for a long-term role starting in September 2025 and running through July 2026.This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute meaningfully to children’s development within a nurturing and supportive learning environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons.
• Work closely with Year 1 pupils, providing both one-to-one and small group support.
• Help foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
• Assist with classroom organisation, preparation, and daily administrative tasks.
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote pupil well-being.

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting early years education.
• Previous classroom experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A current DBS registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
