1Job Title: Team member – Local Support Services (LSS) – Counter Terrorism Policing HQSalary: The starting salary is £33,348, which includes allowances totalling £2,841.The salary is broken down as £30,507 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £32,639 Plus, a location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.Location: West BromptonJob SummaryTo provide a broad range of support services to the commands which make up the Metropolitan Police Service’s Specialist Operations business group, and those of Counter Terrorism Policing.Key TasksThe post holder will be required to do the following:

  • Procurement of goods and services.
  • Building and accommodation management.
  • Management of electronic access control systems.
  • Escorting contractors and visitors within secure environments.
  • The management of residential accommodation allocated to seconded officers.
  • The issuing and control of corporate credit cards.
  • Managing the Specialist Operations vehicle fleet and in-house fleet services.
  • Providing support to national and international events held in London and elsewhere.
  • The administration of internal & external training for Specialist Operations & Counter Terrorism Policing personnel.

  • The ability to manage customers’ expectations and to prioritise conflicting demands.

Additional InformationThe successful candidate will be expected to remain in post for a minimum of two years.Vetting
This post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis. Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (enhanced) (SC(e)) level before taking up the post; with a willingness to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) once in post, if required.Additionally, this material is of particular sensitivity to the UK and its distribution must be restricted to UK nationals. In approved circumstances dual nationals (of which one element is British) may also be granted access. However, in the event that potential conflicts of interest cannot be managed the post holder will not be able to see the intelligence material and will not be able to perform their duties.
