As a Product Owner in the Data domain, you will lead the Scrum team, driving change from concept to delivery. You will prioritize opportunities through a clear backlog, support solution design and validation, review epics and user stories, and ensure alignment with global and local Architecture teams during business validation testing.What you do

• Collaborating with stakeholders and analysts to understand the data requirements.
• Stakeholder Management for gathering information, understanding expectations and clarifying any inconsistencies or conflicting requirements to ensure alignment.
• Prioritization and backlog management across the different legal entities served.
• Lead the design and implementation of data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Synapse Analytics, ensuring robust data integration and transformation processes.
• Develop and maintain systems for real-time monitoring and alerting of data workflows, leveraging Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to ensure data quality and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for optimization within data processing and storage solutions, implementing best practices for performance tuning and cost management in Azure.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering to drive continuous improvement and innovation
• Understanding and working within internally published Allianz Data Technology Strategy
• Provider management to execute the different prioritized initiatives.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or other relevant fields
• 5+ years of IT Business Analyst or IT Product Owner experience focused on creating product backlog, eliciting requirements, determining priorities and driving the development team for execution of backlog
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in the cloud services or data analytics domain.
• Strong technical background with demonstrable experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect on Azure or other cloud vendors, showcasing expertise in designing and implementing data solutions.
• Agile methodology experience and knowledge in iterative incremental delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically when implementing projects and solving problems.
• Capability in understanding the technical aspects of the project.
• Strong coordination skills and willingness to take responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of data analysis principles and methodologies
• Familiarity with data warehousing, data pipelines, and data visualization tools (PowerBI)
• Experience working with SQL and data querying languages
• Deep knowledge of Azure Synapse or related cloud data platforms.
• Data Storage: Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database.
• Data Processing: Azure Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics and Azure Functions
• Data Analytics: Azure Power BI, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Machine Learning.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in English.
