Overview

We are looking for a new colleague to join our EMEA Life Science Mass Spectrometry TSS team. The position can be based anywhere in France, but preferably close to an international Airport.

In line with the strategic objectives of the CMD European Commercial Organization, the purpose of this role is to improve the business potential through increased sustained revenue growth of our instrument portfolio in the field of Life Science Mass Spectrometry.

The role

The TSS discovers potential opportunities within this market and customer segment with a view to improving allegiance and sales revenue for Thermo Fisher Scientific. The TSS uncovers the customer’s interest in our products and drives the Thermo Fisher Scientific value proposition from sample to knowledge. The role interfaces and works in close collaboration with key members of the sales team, CMD Divisional marketing teams, Business Unit marketing, support and technical service groups within CMD. Drives Growth

· Shares the voice of customer towards the Business Unit. Also attends technical collaboration visits to Business Unit manufacturing and R&D sites; Supports new

Product Introduction (NPI) prospects within territory to increase adoption rates and revenue return

· Supports and handles the sales funnel and forecast in collaboration with the country leads and their sales teams. Consults with key account managers and internal partners on obtaining customer forecasts for new and existing business; works on strategies to achieve sales goals and metrics, including value proposition development

· Uses Thermo Fisher Scientific’s sales tools to efficiently handle the accounts, opportunities, pipelines and forecasting in an accurate and timely manner

· Maintains awareness of competitor and industry activity; Introduces new products and services as available

Some activities outside the Benelux territory is expected

How will you get here?

Education

M.Sc. degree in Science or Business based fields or relevant experience

Experience

3 – 5 years of experience working with Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry (proteomics/metablomics/lipidomics)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills with the competence to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audience

Fluent in English
