The Role:

The Technical Service Engineer is a part of team in Poland, providing technical support to local, and global customers in laser marking and coding systems.

What you will do:

-Be a cross functional team member focused on diagnosing damaged laser systems – finding the problem and the root cause of the damage,
-Perform in-house systems repairs,
-Provide problem solutions for technical issues encountered during repair actions,
-Perform maintenance activity of laser systems,
-Complete service reports: time confirmation, spare part usage, tasks performed, service product, fault/solution codes,
-Work in partnership with sales teams,
-International and domestic. Occasionally it may be required to travel globally to attend maintenances, repairs, trainings, and meetings.
 

What you need to have:

-At least 2 years of experience in a similar role,
-Expert knowledge of technical products,
-Hands-on experience in electronic soldering is a must,
-Ability to use basic measuring devices such as a multimeter, oscilloscope is a must
-Knowledge of laser coding and marking product range would be an advantage,
-Ability to read electrical/electronic diagrams,
-Knowledge of electrical and electronic device design,
-Knowledge of soldering and assembly techniques for electrical and electronic components,
-Ability to technically assess and troubleshoot defects and issues, and proactively advise on solutions,
-Excellent communication skills,
-Ability to effectively communicate in Polish and English (at least B1 level),
-Category B driver’s licence,
-Openess and ability to travel inernationally (5-10  trips per year).
