Technical Services Chemist- ShannonJob Purpose:
To provide an efficient technical support services to both internal and external customersKey responsibilities:

Provision of technical support to both in-house colleagues and customers including daily attendance at Operations Meeting troubleshooting current issues and suggesting efficiencies and improvements.
Logical trouble shooting skills for processes and systems.
Supporting the provision of internal Calibration Services.
Contribute to maintenance of current accreditations (equipment and procedures) and expansion of scope as required.
Development of new products/services.
Analytical method development and validation.
Customer complaint investigation
Technical contribution at daily operations meeting.
Input for technical training and seminars.
Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Quality Manager, or any member of the SLT

Education and Experience:

Third Level Science Qualification – preferably to PhD level ideally with industrial experience
Broad ranging scientific experience with significant customer interaction
Good technical knowledge and ability
Trouble shooting skills
In depth understanding of ISO17025:2017, ISO17034 and ISO9001:2015
