Then you’re at the right place.Your impactAs a (senior) associate you make an impact by:Mapping & Insights – EU regulatory environment impacting multidisciplinary firmsMonitor, analyse and summarise European Commission and European Parliament initiatives which could impact the firm’s clients and the broader business community. Topics include tax directives and regulations, monitoring activities of committees such as the Code of Conduct Group of Business Taxation, the FISC and ECON committees in the European Parliament, tax and ESG measures, and the Green DealSupporting the Global Tax Policy networkSupporting the Global Tax Policy Team and local tax policy leaders in establishing and/or facilitating formal in-country dialogues with stakeholders on key tax policy, regulatory, and other issues of strategic priority to the network and individual territoriesAssist in PwC submissions to EU consultationsCooperation with other stakeholdersOrganise thought leadership events with other stakeholders (EC, EP, NGOs,business/trade organisations and think tanks)Help building a network with parliamentary assistants and commission civil servants.About youMaster degree in (tax) law or (fiscal) economicsAffinity with taxSeveral years of relevant experienceExcellent networking skills with a view to ‘opening doors’ for PwC with external stakeholdersGood understanding of EU decision making processes and/or experience with EU institutions or political groups or keen to learn on the jobInterest in meeting people inside PwC and outside the networkHave strong teamwork skills and the ability to build a network within PwC and to collaborate across teamsHave excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to keep stakeholders abreast of the current status on a variety of topicsOpen to a one-year contract starting in September 2025Life at PwC BelgiumOur culture and workplace are something we’re proud of.
