The Department of Psychology at UdG carries out teaching and research activities in the areas of basic psychological processes, including perception, attention, memory, learning, and motivation, as well as their neural and cognitive underpinnings. The department is involved in several undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs, and leads competitive research projects at both national and international levels, establishing itself as a key player in its field.
A call for applications is open for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Lecturer, within a tenure-track path. The position is for a duration of six years, with the possibility of consolidation into a permanent position as Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor, subject to performance evaluation and institutional needs.
The ideal candidate will have an academic background in basic psychology or cognitive neuroscience. Experience and potential to develop quality research in the study of basic psychological processes, such as perception, attention, memory, learning, or motivation, and their cognitive or neurobiological foundations, will be highly valued.
