Please refer to the call for applications on the department’s website for details.Candidates will demonstrate expertise and a strong publication record, preferably transversal, in the following sub-areas: political ecology that allow examining asymmetric power relations in the dynamics of environmental justice conflicts, and how emerging leaderships reconfigure these asymmetries seeking the inclusion of gender issues, new generational perspectives, and the non-human world. Similarly, the candidate must have a perspective, such as ecological economics, that clarifies the distributive dimensions within conflicts, both from a material point of view and in the way different values are framed and expressed, as well as how the notion of effectiveness is conceived and evaluated.
