NETtoWORK ricerca Thermodynamic Design Engineer per azienda della provincia di Treviso.For our plant “Enex” in Vacil, we are searching a talented and courageous Thermodynamic Design Engineer who share our values, with innovative capacity for working with us by integrating in a diverse team that work together..What will you be doing in this roleThis position will have the following responsibilities :We are looking for a Thermodynamic Design Engineer to join our technical team for the development and optimization of industrial CO₂ refrigeration systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for the thermodynamic design of refrigeration units, analyzing refrigeration cycles, selecting key components, and contributing to the improvement and industrialization of the systems. Prior experience specifically with CO₂ is not strictly required – we will provide a dedicated training path to support the learning process. The role involves constant interaction with the mechanical and electrical departments, as well as active participation in technical validation and project documentationResponsibilities and deliverables includeManage the development of the project from order intake to the completion of the technical file, including the drafting of the P&ID and the Bill of Materials (BOM).Prepare and update the technical documentation, including the technical fileSelect and size thermodynamic components (e.g. compressors, heat exchangers, valves)Collaborate with mechanical and electrical design teams throughout the project lifecycleSupport product industrialization, focusing on performance, reliability, and efficiencyContribute to R&D activities for new technologies and solutions in sustainable refrigerationParticipate in technical reviews, system validation, and testing activitiesInterface with suppliers to evaluate and integrate new componentsSupport and follow PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) certification activities throughout the project lifecycle.Work Experience & Education RequirementsEngineering Degree or PHD in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related fieldsPrevious experience in the refrigeration sector is not strictly required but appreciated.Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer principlesFamiliarity with CO₂ systems is appreciated, but not strictly requiredFamiliarity in technical drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD) is appreciatedGood command of English (written and spoken)Familiarity with programming tools such as Python or VBA is not required but would be highly appreciated, especially for process automation.Ability to work in a team, under pressure, and with a structured and methodical approach.Proactive approach to technical challenges
