We’re looking for a Tooling Engineer to join our AZ WorkS team within Allianz Group’s Infrastructure & Information Security (IF&S) department. In this role, you will be part of an agile DevOps team focused on enhancing IT support services globally. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing tool integrations, ensuring high-quality service delivery for Allianz employees worldwide. Your expertise in JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell will help improve the functionality of our service desk, onsite support, and hardware management solutions. What will make you succeed in this position?

• Proven experience (5+ years) in Tooling Engineering with a focus on scripting languages skills (JavaScript, Python or PowerShell.)
• Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Knowledge of software engineering and programming languages
• Advanced knowledge in Service NOW as this is the core product to manage demands for our services.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM.
• Providing expertise in demand, configuration, release, deployment, and test management.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.
• Experience in Agile Work environments and corresponding tools and methods (preferably SCRUM)
• Self-oriented working, prioritization capabilities and the ability to cope under stress.
• Curiosity about modern technologies and interest in intercultural cooperation.
• Good spoken and written English skills.

• High flexibility, teamwork, commitment and resilience and ability to handle conflicts while delivering high quality results.
• IT affinity and fun in technology and ability to solve problems independently.
• Having an Agile mindset

Your mission in the role will be:

• Collects, analyses, and checks functional and technical requirements regarding technical implementation and feasibility and translates them into the technical software design.
• Designs, develops, tests, debugs, documents, and implements interfaces to other tools within Az WorkS scope.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to leverage new features and capabilities.
• Discuss new requirements with experts based on the OE’s demands and drive their implementation.
• Support the design and implementation of the services components according to the architecture roadmap.
• Collaborate with expert teams in Workplace Services for the exchange of best practices and process management training.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors providing global onsite IT support solutions to ensure they adhere to the established quality and functionality standards.
• Develops the service in agile teams and supports the implementation of software engineering techniques and methods.
