The Role:
As a Town Planner, you’ll play a key role in managing a diverse caseload of planning projects, supporting senior colleagues, and engaging directly with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include:

Preparing, managing, and submitting planning applications and appeals
*

Conducting site appraisals and preparing planning statements and reports
*

Providing well informed planning advice to clients and colleagues
*

Contributing to local plan representations and development plan submissions
*

Assisting in the coordination of multi-disciplinary project teams
*

Developing strong relationships with clients and external partners

About You:

A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI-accredited)
*

1-3 years’ experience in a planning role, ideally within consultancy or private sector
*

Strong written and verbal communication skills
*

Excellent understanding of the planning process and relevant legislation
*

Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
*

A proactive attitude and ambition to progress your career in planning
