SEAM aims to enhance capabilities across these areas by introducing new technologies, providing performance feedback, supporting improvement plans, and sustaining performance through strong core capabilities. SEAM ProductStewardship ensures Shell’s products are safe, compliant and trusted.A Toxicologist in the SEAM Product Stewardship organisation is responsible to drive development of safe and sustainable products and processes. To provide toxicology advice and services, including innovative risk assessment. Act as a business partner in projects and technology development and ability to influence and guide internal and external stakeholders, as well as regulatory authorities.Key Responsibilities:Conduct toxicology hazard and human health risk assessments.Ensure toxicity testing follows company procedures.Address toxicology and health risk queries.Develop toxicology statements on safety documents.Develop industry standards and guidelines.Monitor scientific developments in toxicology.Represent the company in scientific forums.Communicate risks to experts, customers, and the public.Skills & Requirements:Strong team working and interpersonal skills.Ability to learn quickly, analyze problems/situations and suggest practical solutions.Fluent in English – C1.MSc in toxicology, biology, medicine, pharmacy, or related field (PhD preferred).Eligible for European Registered Toxicologist (ERT) or Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT) will be an asset.Experience with global chemical regulations (e.g., EU REACH, CLP, TSCA).Strategic thinker and planner.If you don’t see yourself fully reflected in every job requirement listed in the posting above, we still encourage you to reach out and apply.
