Why do we need you ?

The Technology and Industrial Performance (TIP) Department as a central team in charge of Industrial Performance roadmap, standards and benchmarking, R&D programs (Products and Process) for Construction, Strategic Investments, Capacity Allocation among countries and Excellence Programs, is looking for a Trainee to support a study on connectivity of our Mortars plants worldwide.

Mortars business represents a 3.1 billion € sales with a strong international presence mostly under Weber brand with about 196 production sites located in 62 countries.

Reporting to the Global Industrial Performance Champion and 4.0 Coordinator, your main responsibilities will be:

  • To list and reference main equipment of Mortars plants and understand their level of connectivity.
  • To be in contact with country supports, plant managers, local automation engineers or maintenance technicians to facilitate this study.

Is this job for you ?

Education

  • Student in BUT GEII or BTS CIRA program

Experience/Knowledge/Technical competencies

  • Fields of study: automation, connectivity, instrumentation-regulation systems, industrial control and automatic regulation, electrical engineering, and industrial computing

Skills and Abilities

  • Fluent in English
  • Very good communication skills
  • You can communicate, you can work on your own as well as work as a team player.
  • Responsible, independent, and reliable at work
  • Intercultural interest and understanding

Technology et Industrial Performance (TIP) is an international central team composed of approximately 550 employees located in several establishments in France and abroad. Its mission is to define and implement the energy and environmental roadmap while providing technical support to the Group’s plants, particularly in the Construction businesses such as Gypsum, Insulation, Mortars, and Glass. TIP is also responsible for R&D programs for Products and Processes in the Construction businesses, strategic investment management, and capacity allocation among countries.
