Trainee to Associate – Corporate Banking International Desk (Benelux Branch)Duration: 18-24 monthsAre you ready to embark on a dynamic career path within the banking sector? We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Corporate Banking International Desk at the Benelux Branch as a Trainee. During your 18-24 month traineeship, you will receive extensive training to become a proficient Associate Corporate Banking, supporting Relationship Managers with complex and international Corporate Clients.Throughout your traineeship, you will gain in-depth experience through rotations in various specialized departments, preparing you for your future role as an Associate.Your Role:

  • From the start, you will be involved in managing corporate clients, designing customized solutions, and assisting in the preparation of client strategies, credit applications, and presentations.
  • As an essential part of the Client Sales Team, you will coordinate with Lead-Relationship Managers, product specialists and support day-to-day operations, focusing on the profitable expansion of international business relationships, taking into account revenue and risk aspects.
  • Additionally, you will ensure compliance with KYC (Know-Your-Customer) and regulatory guidelines.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields, preferably with a focus on Finance
  • Strong affinity for international corporate clients and corporate finance
  • Completed internships at banks, consulting firms, or finance departments of businesses
  • Excellent skills in analyzing balance sheets, strategies, and markets
  • Superior analytical and solution-oriented thinking and actions
  • High orientation towards sales and service
  • Very independent and meticulous work ethic
  • Affinity for digital topics and proficient use of MS Office
  • Strong communication skills, service, and team competencies
  • High level of commitment and responsibility
  • Proficient in German and English, Dutch is an advantage
