Offer DescriptionA public selection, based on qualifications and interview, is announced for the assigment of no. 1 grant of type B: Postdoctoral Grant, for carrying out of research activities inherent to the Scientific Area Ch – Chemistry, at the Institute of Chemistry of Organometallic Compounds of the CNR (ICCOM – CNR) headquarters of Sesto Fiorentino, CNR Research Area of Florence, which pursues research in Chemistry, within the Cariplo Research Project called: Transformation of plastic waste in Electrocatalysts, Supported by exhausted gases recovery Layout – TESLA, on the following topic: Development of methods and electrocatalysts for electrochemical CO2 reduction to syngas and other energy vectors, under the scientific responsibility of Dr. Jonathan Filippi.RequirementsAdditional InformationEligibility criteriaRequirements: a) degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry o chemical engineering obtained according to the legislation in force before the DM 509/99, or the Master’s/Master’s degree (DM of 5 May 2004), with a professional cv suitable for carrying out research activities; b) PhD in Chemical Sciences or Materials Sciences (3 years); c) Qualifications obtained abroad (university degree, doctorate) must be recognized in advance in Italy according to current legislation (info MUR ). d) Experience: especially focused on the synthesis of nanostructured or molecular catalysts and/or electrocatalysts; morphological-structural characterization by (HR)TEM and SEM microscopy, and XRD; GC, HPLC and NMR analysis techniques for reaction product analysis ;e) knowledge of English language; f) knowledge of Italian language (foreigners only).Eligible destination country/ies for fellows:
