Responsibilities:Organization and execution of efficient and in-time inbound and outbound transports of our production materials and finished goods using preferred and contracted sea, air, road or rail forwardersCollaboration with road, sea, air and rail forwarders, invoice control and costs improvement activitiesEnsures the customs compliance for import and export as required by national and international customs rules and lawsProvide regular reporting of compliance metrics regarding customs riskIdentifies and complies with import/export regulatory documentation and process standards set by external entities (e.g. government, customs authorities) and required by Vitesco TechnologiesCoordinates and executes the regular import & export customs processesExecutes the standard customs clearanceManages claims for transport damages / complaints (e.g. investigation of fault, liabilities, and settlement of claims)Coordinated Import & Export transport processes during emergency shipmentsComplies in conformity with applicable legal and other requirements, in conformity with internal requirements included in the quality and environment handbook, internal procedures and operating instructionsJob requirements:Knowledge of applicable transportation related regulations and processes1-3 years relevant experience in a similar positionGood command of EnglishMS Office skillsMinimum secondary level education in relevant fields (customs and foreign trade)BSc degree and experience at a multinational automotive company is an advantageWhy should you choose us?
