We are seeking an outstanding individual for the position of Transport Manager. In this role you will support the Associate Director, Environment & Sustainability in the development and delivery of the University Travel Plan and manage associated contracts relating to transport activities and will be integral as we seek to monitor and measure progress against wider Sustainability Strategy goals.

You will also report on travel behaviour to measure effectiveness and inform decision making, as well as make recommendations on ways to increase the use and/or efficiency of sustainable travel modes (prioritising zero emission options), flexible working practices, provision of operational facilities and co-ordination of awareness activities across campuses, whilst also managing the University’s car parking services.

Working collaboratively, collegially and confidently with senior leadership of the University, you will bring a creative, strategic, and innovative approach to the Sustainability Team. As a part of Estates & Facilities, strong partnership across the University is vital to ensure a consistent approach to environment management across all activities.
