Role Description
The Travel and Expense Compliance Investigation team (T&E CIT) as part of T&E department is responsible for executing investigations, finding and reporting facts for potential non-compliance cases. The role reports to the GFS PTP Finance Manager.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The Finance Specialist will be expected to take ownership in managing and conducting Travel and Expense (T&E) analyses, focus on compliance of SAP’s travel policies and its Code of Business Conduct and hence, supporting T&E investigations.
Your key responsibilities will be:
-Support T&E investigations
-Execute assigned T&E analyses
-Deliver overall case summary with proposed next steps
-Develop collaborative work relationships with respective stakeholders
-Communicate with all involved colleagues clearly and in a timely manner
-Serve as trusted advisor and functional peer to other teams at the organization
-Review and follow up on identified potential risk of non-compliance in T&E claims utilizing state of the art artificial intelligence tools
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
-Ability to work in virtual and international teams
-General proficiency with tools and procedures required to accomplish the job
-Hands-on with extreme attention to detail and written documentation
-Ability to do in-depth research and to interpret written guidelines and documents
-Fluent business English, written and verbal
-Ability to work with data classified as Confidential
-Ability to determine right priorities and support the Finance Manager with tasks completion
-Knowledge of MS Office
-Knowledge of SAP FI module an advantage
-Knowledge and experience in the Travel and Expense process an advantage
-Finance/Business Administration/Accounting degree is preferred
