- Source and develop seasonal trims according to the creative, commercial, financial and sustainability needs of the business, as required by the seasonal Brief, following Design and Product strategy based on the direction of the Creative Director, working closely with the Design, Supply Chain and Atelier teams.
- Conduct trims research, requesting, colliding and documenting all information on feasible options (price, MOQ, lead time, sustainability attributes)
- Request new qualities, launching trials and opening molds as required for seasonal collections.
- Follow critical path and respect the deadline for the launches and corresponding seasonal sampling and production orders.
- Support Raw Materials and Trims Manager in budget forecast and planning to be carried out through ERP system in timely manner.
- Constantly monitor the progress of selected trims and its approvals while adhering to the collection development timeline.
- Assure smooth daily correspondence and workflow with global suppliers (factories, mills, trim suppliers, etc.)
- Manage the ordering process of staple trims as necessary for each collection based on the budget and needs of the business.
- Support the testing process of selected trims when required.
- Prepare for seasonal trims selection meetings, making and updating the seasonal presentations, following up closely on added value document and its updates, Colour Overviews, Deadstock overviews and development folders.
- Creating item codes, articles and Purchase Orders in ERP system, handling invoices for sampling and production fabrics.
- Keeping track of prototyping, sampling as well as estimated and final production trims orders, following up with suppliers updating the tracker with AWB and arranging deliveries and customs clearance when necessary in close collaboration with logistics.
- Reporting on sampling and production trims status to the Raw Materials and Trims Manager, immediately flagging any delays or disruptions.
- Uploading collection trims delivery dates and keeping the ETAs up to date.
- Support related teams (Atelier, Supply Chain, Sustainability) with information of trims availability, developments, and orders progress.
- Building strong working relationships and close collaboration with both internal teams and external suppliers. Make sure the CMT/FOB trims stock information is kept up to date both in local and external warehouses.
- Keeping track of all daily processes and deadlines with exceptional organizational and follow-up skills and strong attention to detail.
- Work closely with PD, Production, and Design team to make sure all teams are aligned
- Work with Raw Material Manager to launch specific research, create seasonal development folders, process orders
Requirements:
- Relevant experience gained in fashion industry
- Computer literate. Office, Adobe, etc.
- Ability to work under pressure, lateral thinking and problem-solving
- Team player with the ability to handle a fast-paced work environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines, time management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Hungarian and English are essential, any other language is a plus
