Salary: Grade 7 – £32,982 – £37,099 per annum together with USS benefits (pro rata if part time)

Contract: Fixed Term until 31st January 2025. Full-time

Location:  This position will be based at the Singleton Campus

Swansea’s School of Psychology is a substantial research and teaching centre with expertise across applied and theoretical psychology. We are looking for a tutor to join our team to provide maternity cover. Expertise in any area of psychology will be considered, but the ability to teach undergraduate research methods would be highly desirable. Knowledge of developmental psychology could also be a bonus.

This post will involve contribution to teaching and student assessment and supervision in the School of Psychology, at undergraduate and potentially also at postgraduate level, in addition to sharing organisational and academic administrative responsibilities. The post requires high quality delivery of teaching and student learning and a commitment to enhancing the overall student experience.

The Department has been highly successful in recruiting students over the past years and has a flourishing undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programme. It also has a thriving research community with particular research strengths in many areas of psychology, including a range of applied areas of research.
