Applications are invited for a temporary, one-year Assistant Professorship in the History of France since c.1815. The post is tenable from 01 September 2023.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding scholar and teacher of post-1815 French History in its European and global context at undergraduate and postgraduate level. It is expected that by the start of the appointment the appointee will hold or be close to completing a doctorate in a relevant field.
