Offer DescriptionThe Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) announces a competition for the position of University Professor / Research and Teaching Professor at the Center for Translational Medicine.The candidate must meet the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Act on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and in the Statute of the University (Section VIII: Employees of SGGW).**Requirements:**
– Academic title of professor or postdoctoral degree (habilitation) in veterinary medicine, medical sciences, agricultural sciences, or health sciences
– Recognized international scientific achievements in the relevant field
– Authorship or co-authorship of scientific publications in the relevant disciplines
– Minimum 3-month research internship in scientific institutions
– Experience in managing research projects funded through competitive grants
– Documented teaching achievements, including high-quality instruction or textbook authorship
– Experience in supervising doctoral candidates
– Good command of English (documented), sufficient for writing publications and presenting at conferences**Responsibilities:**
– Conducting scientific research
– Applying for research funding
– Teaching and mentoring students**Application documents:**
