We work in a flexible way, meaning we can prioritise our health and relationships, but when we are working, we graft.Job Overview:We are seeking a talented and user-focused UX Designer to help shape the experience of our online marketplace. Your primary responsibility will be to understand user needs, behaviours, and motivations, and translate these insights into seamless, engaging, and effective user interfaces.You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Product Managers, Developers, and Graphic Designers—to create solutions that meet user expectations while aligning with business objectives.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design meaningful and intuitive user experiences by balancing customer insights, business goals, and technical constraints
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Product Managers, Developers, and fellow Designers
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, storyboards, and mock-ups for web and mobile applications
  • Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback
  • Stay up to date with the latest UX trends, tools, and best practices
  • Deliver finalised journey designs to Product and Development teams ahead of sprint schedules as per an Agile Delivery Methodology

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a UX role within a fast-paced scale-up or tech environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design processes and successful outcomes
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce UX best practices
  • Experience facilitating workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent
  • Strong grasp of user-centred design principles and usability testing methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions
  • Ability to align teams around solutions and lead productive design discussions
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and a basic understanding of front-end development
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban

BenefitsThe salary on offer for this role is up to £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.We also offer the following benefits:
