What is the job about?
To take up the position of VP, Head of Sales, Trade for WE, we are looking for a global sales leader with an end-to-end value chain understanding and with an inclusive leadership style. With a direct report to the SVP, Global Head of Sales, Trade, you will be part of the Global Sales, Trade Leadership Team. Your overall accountability is to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and deliver on the short- and long-term sales ambitions for DBS. This includes engaging in cross functional end-to-end collaboration to deliver on both financial and non-financial KPIs while leading, engaging and growing the WE Sales, Trade organisation through an inclusive leadership expressed in Grundfos’ values and behaviour.
Your main responsibilities:

Propose translation of DBS Strategy Deployment Maps into functional roadmaps for WE – including objectives and budgets.

Responsible for providing sound cost benefit analyses before any major investment projects are carried out.

Build up and maintain WE as an effective organization, responsible for the engagement, motivation and wellbeing of the employees in WE

Draw up, co-coordinate and revise the Unit policies within the frames of our Group Policies
-
Establish and maintain efficient management systems for all relevant areas of operation, hereunder making sure that
-
Grundfos matrix system is closely integrated into our WE, operational setup
-
Decide on important matters concerning the choice of suppliers require the approval of the Group Purchasing Function
-
Ensure positive profitability and a healthy P&L in WE
-
Live and breathe our values and key behaviours with a constant attention on our strong social and environmental engagement.
Your specific competencies include:
-
Front line sales leadership experience showing a delivery of strong commercial results through an understanding of the full value chain, its drivers and how the different functions add value to the totality.

Experience with people management at higher middle level management.
-
Have supervised a function or a company at Senior Director or Director level with a preferred 100+m EUR revenue.
-
Proven change management experience – on strategic as well as operational level.

Long-term successor potential -and aspirations for next-level commercial position as Global Head of Sales or similar.

Understanding of customers and markets in Building Services and similar industries.
-
Understanding of customers and markets in Building Services, HVAC, or similar industries.
-
Be experienced with translating Group Strategy into functional/regional roadmaps.
-
A high degree of international experience outside home market is required.
-
English language proficiency. Additional language skills in one or more European languages is an advantage.

Ability to travel approx. 30% of business time, plus being present in main Sales offices in WE and global HQ in Denmark.
