Post Title: Visiting Lecturer Administrator

SBU/Department: Hertfordshire Business School

FTE: 0.8 FTE (working 29.6 hours per week)

Duration of Contract: Permanent

Salary: UH5 £26,642 pro rata pa with potential to progress to £29,762 pro rata pa on achieving designated skills and experience

Location: De Havilland Campus, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield

This is an interesting and varied position that provides you with an opportunity to gain and enhance your administrative experience, with appropriate training and support.

Main duties and responsibilities

Hertfordshire Business School are looking for a motivated and proactive individual who will live the University’s values and will conduct the administration of Visiting Lecturer contracts, timesheet processing, recruitment and general enquiries.

Skills and experience required

The role requires a high level of accuracy with data input, strong attention for detail, and the flexibility to work on a wide range of different processes and regulations. You will also need excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to use initiative, and a flexible approach in delivering to deadlines and working effectively with key individuals.

Qualifications required

You will hold a minimum of A-level qualifications or equivalent level or proven professional work experience.
