Located in a modern £300m campus in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, the Business School is a thriving, vibrant, and inspiring learning community committed to excellence in research, high quality teaching and impactful industrial engagement. Building on continuous success in student growth and in sustained advancement of research activities, the school has embarked on a programme of extensive expansion and has a need for suitably qualified and enthusiastic hourly paid Visiting Lecturers to support the permanent lecturing staff in particular areas of specialism.
We invite applications for Visiting Lecturers across a wide range of disciplines in the areas of Management, Leadership, Human Resources, Business and Marketing to support students on foundation programmes, bachelor degree, masters, and professional programmes.
Your core role will be to facilitate seminars and workshops as well as to deliver some lecturing activities. You will be attached to modules of study under the leadership of a module leader. Materials are provided. Please note, all our teaching is on-campus so please don’t apply if you can only offer online teaching support.
Candidates should have, at a minimum, a masters degree in a relevant discipline. A professional qualification, in addition, would be advantageous, as would previous teaching or lecturing experience.
The start date for the roles is flexible, but we usually recruit staff in advance of our main semester start dates in late September and late January respectively.
