Vickerstock are proud to be partnering with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council to recruit a Visitor service advisor.As visitor service advisor you will be responsible for providing clerical, reception and secretarial support as allocated.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, including handling correspondence, managing records, and scheduling.
• Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner, addressing inquiries promptly and efficiently.
• Support team members with day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth operations
• Actively contribute to maintaining a welcoming and customer-focused environment at the Tourist Information Centres.
• Work closely with staff to meet Tourism Northern Ireland’s Minimum Standards, striving for continuous improvement.
• Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact, promoting local attractions, events, and services to enhance visitor experiences.

Qualifications:

• Grade C or above in at least 4 GCSEs* or equivalent qualification one of which must be GCSE English Language or equivalent and one of which must be a GCSE in a numerate subject or equivalent.
