Job DescriptionCan you see yourself leading a high performing warehouse team who ensures that the Raw Materials and LEGO® Bricks are handled and delivered in right time, cost and quality?Bring your leadership passion, interpersonal skills and communication abilities into play in this new position as Warehouse Supervisor for the day shift in the Billund manufacturing site!No relocation assistance is offered for this position.Core ResponsibilitiesIn this new position as Warehouse Supervisor, it will be your core responsibility to lead, manage and support the day shift team of 30 colleagues in the KOM Campus Logistics team, Billund Production. Meanwhile, ensuring the delivery of the expected outcome to our internal costumers in right time, cost and quality. More specifically, you will:Lead the day shift team in warehouse, while measuring, analyzing and meeting important metrics within safety, quality, delivery, inventory, cost, people, etc.Manage HR processes (People Review Process, PMP Bonus, Employee Changes, People Development Plan, Skill Matrix, etc.)Provide and fulfill training plans for team membersFoster a work environment based on the principles and values of the organisation (PULSE, Leadership Playground, etc.)Promote and ensure the integrity of employees through security tools implemented in the organisation (e.g. proactive in safety, safety observation, risk place assessment) in close collaboration with the LEGO® safety teamEnsure and maintain production plan fulfillment, improve and optimize resources and production setup to ensure the norms and efficiency of the areaEnsure Ramp Up according to demand in close collaboration with supplier of agency workersSecure compliance of quality and safety standard (Product Safety, QA Handbook, IMS)Lead continuous improvement effortsSupport strategic projectsPlay your part in our team succeeding
You will join our KOM Campus Logistics team in Billund divided into five shifts (day/evening/night/weekends). The team is handling the raw materials (resins and master batches) from arrival at the manufacturing site until the injection moulding process begins. In addition, it is responsible for operation of the high-bay warehouse operation.This role provides the opportunity to not only be involved in the day-to-day operation, but also have a wider perspective of operations across the LEGO® value chain.Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate comes with knowledge, experience and background from Production, Warehousing, Logistics or equivalent functional areas bringing a strong operation-based working approach.Minimum 1-2 years of experience as Team Coordinator, Lead, Supervisor or equivalent roles leading groups of 20+ employeesGreat communication skills and interpersonal values to develop local and global relationships in the work area, empower team members and motivate the groupGreat collaboration abilitiesHolistic and strategic vision to take decisions in the short, medium and long termSolid IT skills working with PPS, SAP, Excel and MS Office. Preferably, also Workday and ChampProficiency in English and Danish both written and verbalAbility to work daily in BillundApplications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
