With over 6,500 residents across 26 halls in some of London’s most iconic neighbourhoods, our award-winning accommodation service is looking for an experienced, customer-focused leader to join our team as our next Out of Hours & Weekend Property Service Manager.About the roleAs our OOH & Weekend Property Service Manager, you’ll take the lead in managing our operations during evenings and weekends — ensuring our residents always feel safe, supported, and at home.You’ll manage a team of OOH Officers and Advisors, deliver excellent front-of-house services, handle building operations, and respond swiftly to incidents and emergencies across our portfolio. This is a hands-on role at the frontline of student experience — perfect for a proactive, solutions-oriented individual who thrives in dynamic environments.🛠 What You’ll Be DoingLeading a team that delivers 24/7 service support across UCL’s student accommodation sites.Acting as first responder for incidents out of hours, ensuring health & safety, welfare, and property concerns are managed effectively.Overseeing building patrols, reception services, and site security during evenings and weekends.Collaborating closely with accommodation managers, contractors, and support teams to ensure smooth and compliant operations.Managing rotas, resources, and performance to maintain a high-performing, customer-first team.Supporting large-scale events such as arrivals, departures, open days and summer lettings.About you✅ What We’re Looking ForExperience managing customer-facing teams, ideally in accommodation, hospitality, or retail.A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and motivating teams to do the same.Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and incident response protocols.Resilience, empathy, and professionalism when handling challenging situations.Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and being part of a 24/7 on-call rota.What we offerAs well as the exciting opportunities this role presents, we also offer some great benefits some of which are below:
