As an Employment Program Representative (EPR) in the Employment Development Department (EDD) Workforce Service Branch (WSB), you’ll be part of a diverse team helping get our fellow Californians back to work. Working in an America’s Job Center of CaliforniaSM (AJCC), you’ll offer in-person and virtual job-search assistance, present workshops for job seekers, work with local employers, and provide guidance on the various programs available through the EDD. The WSB provides workforce services at AJCC locations statewide who work together to provide job-search assistance and guidance to Californians. As this is a customer service-centric position, telework may not be available in all offices, though some may offer telework opportunities once you complete training. Per the Governor’s Office of California, the Employment Development Department is considered an essential department. This position requires local in-person workload, though some telework may be available. This position’s office follows the recommended safety guidance from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Center of Disease Control (CDC).
