About this Role
Dawsongroup EMC provides specialist asset rental to local authorities, utilities and the construction sector. We’re looking for someone with prior experience in a similar role to help deliver and maintain high-performance equipment and ensure our customers stay up and running. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role based out of our depot, where every day brings something different.

• Assist with delivery and collection of sweepers, refuse vehicles, tippers, and other specialist assets
• Support customer inductions and site-based commissioning
• Carry out first-line maintenance, inspections, and safety checks
• Respond to customer issues, ensuring service is swift, safe and professional
• Keep detailed records of asset condition, movement and handovers

About You
You’ve worked in a similar field and understand how important reliable equipment is to frontline services. You’re proactive, hands-on, and happy juggling varied tasks—sometimes at short notice.

• Previous experience in municipal, civil, plant hire or commercial vehicle roles
• Confident working with and around large machinery or specialist vehicles
• Good communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• A strong team player with the ability to work independently
• Safety-aware and comfortable with basic inspections or repairs
