To support this strategy and to reinforce its commercial presence in France, the company is now seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead national sales activities and drive continued development across key market segments.

Key Responsibilities
* Define and implement the commercial strategy for France in alignment with the company’s wider objectives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, prescribers and key market partners.
* Deploy sales and marketing actions at national and regional levels across both conventional and biosolutions product segments.
* Lead, motivate and manage the French commercial organisation including sales, marketing and customer service teams. (approx. 16 FTEs)
* Prepare and deliver regular updates and reports on commercial activities to senior management.
* Contribute to annual commercial campaign planning with the full French sales and marketing teams.
* Collaborate closely with internal functions such as marketing, legal, customer service and sales administration.
Key Requirements
* Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in B2B sales within the plant protection or agrochemical sector.
* Strong commercial skills and customer orientation with knowledge of both conventional and biosolutions markets.
* Experience leading business transformation and supporting organisational change.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to engage teams, stakeholders and customers.
* Experience in budget management.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a predominantly commercial environment.
* Fluent French and strong English skills, spoken and written, for internal communication.
* Motivated to support the company’s strategic direction and comfortable overcoming challenges and resistance during transition periods.
* Flexibility to travel across France and occasionally abroad. A company car is provided.
