Stafforce are currently working with a growing manufacturing company in Barnsley to recruita Yard Operative for their Site. You will be working for an international market leader, using arange of machinery to complete recycling processes on site.What to Expect:● A hands-on role in operating recycling equipment, sorting materials, and ensuringglass is processed to high standards for reuse in manufacturing.● Working with modern machinery in a fast-paced environment where safety andsustainability are top priorities.● Tasks include loading, crushing, sorting, and monitoring recycled glass materialswhile adhering to strict health, safety, and environmental protocols.● A team-oriented work culture, with opportunities to contribute to innovation inresource recycling.What We Need from You:● A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about recycling processes andequipment operations.● Physical fitness to handle manual tasks such as lifting, sorting, and loading materials.● Experience in a similar environment (manufacturing, waste management, orrecycling) is an advantage but not essential; training is provided.● Strong attention to detail for quality control and adherence to safety standards.● Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.What We Can Offer:● A starting hourly rate of £12 an hour.● A permanent role with 37.5 hours a week, 7am – 3pm Mon – Fri , with overtimeavailable when needed.● Full training and opportunities to develop technical skills in recycling operations.● A safe, supportive, and inclusive work environment● Company pension● Free parking on site● Excellent room for progressionIf this role does sound of interest, please feel free to apply below or drop the West YorkshireHub an email on or for more information please call Eliza Cole on 01274913720Ref R02About UsWe are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
