About this role: Finance Services are looking for an experienced Unit4 ERP systems developer to help support the University’s finance system and play a key role in future projects.
The Finance Systems and Processes team provide first and second line support for Unit4 ERP, system integrations, reports development, system upgrades and module implementations.
This role will work closely with Head of Finance Systems and other systems developers to deliver first class support, acting as an escalation point, and implement future projects to agreed standards and timescales. The role holder will line manage system administrators and be responsible for their development.
The Finance Services team of around 90 professionals has a wide-ranging remit. In all our work, we take great pride in providing a reliable, efficient and friendly service, underpinned by a commitment to the highest professional standards.
About you
You will have practical experience of supporting and developing multiple modules within Unit4 ERP (such as Financials, Logistics, PCB, Fixed Assets) for a large user community. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence colleagues at all levels of the organisation and work collaboratively with external partners.
You will lead projects and provide technical expertise to deliver system and process improvements, maintaining robust project documentation and communication plans.
A strong understanding of all current Unit4 reporting tools, such as Xtra Reports, Excelerator, SQL and Information Browsers is highly desirable.
You will deliver clear training guides, provide necessary user training and knowledge sharing with colleagues.

This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week.
This post is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time.
