The School of Law at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to recruit a talented Research Fellow.
You will be a highly productive, ambitious, and collaborative member of the research project, Forensic Scientists and Knowledge Production in Transitional Justice, working to interrogate the relationship between knowledge production and forensic scientists in transitional justice under the supervision of Dr Lauren Dempster. This will involve assisting in the planning and delivery of the research activity so that the overall research objectives of the project are met. This work is being carried out at Queen’s University Belfast School of Law and is funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council’s Research, Development and Engagement Fellowship scheme.
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:
- Have or be about to obtain a relevant PhD.
- Substantial, relevant research experience (this can include a PhD).
- Fluent in Spanish and able to interpret during research interviews and translate documents as required.

This post is available on a fixed term contract for 12 months. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
