This is a global position responsible for leading the IS R&D Portfolio of Projects, which includes IS Support to New Products Development, Product Security Projects and Business Solutions Projects
As IS R&D Portfolio Manager you will be a key Business Partner to support the R&D transformation, build and promote the portfolio for which you are accountable of the execution
This position is interfacing with IS Domain Managers (Business Services, PMO, Project Management Domain, Architect), with R&D VPs and Directors, and R&D Business Process Owner
What will be your responsibilities?
Relationship Management
- Act as leader with all IS resources involved in project deliveries by providing guidance and supervisory support to the project ensuring alignment with commitments
- Participate to project leader staffing, Manage functionally and coach the project leaders.
- Establish strong partnership with the R&D stakeholders. Work regularly with Business Process Owner and/or Global Leaders
Portfolio definition
- Accountable to define a portfolio roadmap along with key stakeholders
- Accountable to provide project budget inputs to IS Leadership and Executive Sponsors
- Translate and organize the defined roadmap into projects plan (timeline, budget, resources)
- Communicate the vision and the portfolio to IS and internal customer stakeholders
Portfolio execution
- Accountable for portfolio execution from opportunity to end of each and every project of the portfolio
- Responsible of scoping phase
- Provide inputs for Capacity Planning and secure staffing with IS Domain Managers and with business stakeholders when appropriate.
- Participate in vendor management (RFP/vendor selection, vendor performance).
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s to Masters degree in Information Systems or equivalent for example
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in program and project management in IT or R&D and regulated environment and ideally a dual experience in a previous functional position
- Experience working in a global environment / organization is preferred
- Solid analytical, organizational, and project management skills and leadership
- Very good interpersonal skills, active listener, organizational awareness and relationship building
- Very good communicator, both verbal and written
- Ability to present projects, challenges, and opportunities to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to lead internal cross-cultural and transversal groups in a Worldwide environment
