The School of Law at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to recruit a talented Lecturer in Law & Technology. 

You will undertake research in line with the School’s research strategy, to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and to contribute to the School’s administration/outreach activity, particularly in Law and Technology including the law relating to cryptocurrency, cybersecurity, new forms of commerce, the platform economy, smart cities, and the virtual environment.

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria: 

  • A first degree in Law
  • A PhD in Law or other relevant subject, or close to completion thereof
  • Evidence of ability to produce high quality publications at an international level of excellence in Law and Technology
  • Evidence of ability to secure external research funding as appropriate to subject area and/or demonstrable ability to secure the same.
  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver high quality teaching and assessment at undergraduate level in Law and Technology including the law relating to cryptocurrency, cybersecurity, new forms of commerce, the platform economy, smart cities, and the virtual environment.
