We are planning investment in the people and physical infrastructure of the Business School and building on our excellent industry links and education we are seeking a PVC Dean who will build the research and KE culture in the School and contribute to significant growth. With nearly 5,000 students on campus, and 200 colleagues from around the world, Salford Business School is a vibrant international community who value our commitment to innovation, and deep-rooted ties with industry. We aspire to foster the next generation of leaders with a vision of innovative and entrepreneurial leadership that integrates people, values and digital to meet the challenges and opportunities of a sustainable future. A member of the University’s leadership team our Pro Vice-Chancellor Dean will provide School leadership as well as playing an active role on pan-institutional matters.
The role requires a senior leader with a strong academic profile relevant to the broad portfolio in the School. You will bring evidence of success in innovation in academic provision and significant experience of enabling complex multi-faceted resources – people, physical and financial. As we reshape the University’s leadership, we are looking for leaders who are compassionate, committed to equity, diversity and inclusion and whose natural approach to delivery is one of shared endeavour.
